Installation
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for downloading and installing various App Extensions from SenseOps into your Qlik Sense environment. App Extensions include Smart Tables, Charts, UX components, Alerting features and Write Back functionality. Follow these steps to integrate these extensions seamlessly into your Qlik Sense applications.
Prerequisites
1. Software & Dependencies

Extensions Package: Ensure the latest Extensions package is available from SenseOps.

Node.js: Latest version must be installed on the server before deployment.
2. SenseOps Account
- You'll need a SenseOps account to access and download the App Extensions. If you don't have a SenseOps account visit senseops.com and click My Account. Now create your SenseOps account.
3. Qlik Connectivity

Ensure you have appropriate permissions in Qlik Management Console (QMC) to perform actions through Qlik Enterprise.

Ensure you have administrative access for Qlik SaaS to perform actions.
Download and Install App Extensions
Step 1: Navigate to the App Extensions section. Select the desired extension (Smart Tables, Charts, UX, Alerting, Pixel Reporting, Write Back).
Step 2: Click Download without Samples and download the extension ZIP file.
Installation process for Qlik Enterprise
You should open Qlik Management Console (QMC) and follow the below steps.
Step 1: Open the Qlik Management Console (QMC). Go to Extensions under MANAGE RESOURCES.
Step 2: Click Import and upload the extension ZIP file.
- Wait for the import process to finish. Verify that the extension is successfully imported without errors in the QMC.
Using the Extension in Qlik Sense Hub
Step 1: Open your Qlik Sense Hub in a web browser. Within the Qlik Sense Hub, locate the section for Custom Objects.
Step 2: In the Custom Objects section, you will find the imported extensions categorized under SenseOps. Drag and drop the desired extension onto your Qlik Sense sheet or workspace to start using it.
- Once extension added to sheet, configure the extension settings as needed using the properties panel. Start using the extension to enhance your Qlik Sense application with additional functionality and visualizations.
Installation process for Qlik SaaS
User needs to open Qlik SaaS and login to the account having administrative access and follow the below guidelines.
SenseOps domain Whitelisting in SaaS
To add a domain URL in the Qlik Sense SaaS Content Security Policy, follow these steps:
- Administrative Access: Log in to your Qlik Sense SaaS tenant and navigate to the Administration.
- Go to Content Security Policy: In the Administration, you will find the "Content Security Policy" section, select it.
- Add Domain URL: Enter the domain URL you wish to add to the policy. Ensure the URL is correctly formatted and includes the necessary protocol (
https://validate.senseops.com/
) and select the connect-src and object-src Directives. - Save Changes: Click the save button to apply the changes to the Content Security Policy.
Adding Extensions to Qlik SaaS
Step 1: Once after getting domain whitelisted, now you can go th Extensions under Administration. Click Add to add the extension to Qlik SaaS.
Step 2: Now you can drag and drop the extension zip file or you can select from files. After selecting the extension, extension name will be shown below "Drop your extension file here". Then click "Upload".
- You can see the added extension in extension list now.
