Functional Limitations

Certain object types may not support regression data extraction.

In such cases, the system may display messages such as:

  • Object type not supported for regression data extraction
  • Data comparison unavailable
  • Container objects require complex nested handling

When data comparison is unavailable, layout comparison may still be supported depending on the object type.

To ensure effective regression validation:

  • Run regression before approving merges or promotions
  • Review all Critical changes prior to deployment
  • Verify deleted sheets and objects carefully
  • Confirm Warning changes to avoid unintended layout shifts
  • Use JSON comparison for detailed expression or property validation

Regression Testing is most effective when integrated into the standard deployment and release validation workflow.
