Comparison Summary Overview
The Summary tab is the starting point after running a regression. It provides a clear, high-level overview of the differences between the selected versions, allowing you to quickly assess the overall impact before reviewing detailed layout or data changes.
Impact Overview
At the top of the page, you’ll see four validation cards:
- Total Changes
- Critical
- Warning
- Passed

These cards summarize the overall impact of the comparison.
Impact Classification
Total Changes
This shows the total number of differences detected between the Baseline and Current versions.
It includes:
- Sheet layout changes
- Data changes
- Added or deleted objects
- Structural updates
Critical
Critical indicates high impact issues.
These typically include:
- A sheet was deleted
- An object was removed
- Large data variance detected
- Significant structural changes
- Rows of data were deleted
Critical issues should always be reviewed before deployment.
Warning
Warning indicates medium impact changes.
Examples include:
- Objects repositioned
- Minor data variance
- Property or formatting changes
- Small layout updates
Warnings should be reviewed to confirm they were intentional.
Passed
Passed means no differences were detected for those items. No action is required.
Identical Version Comparison
If the two versions are identical:
- Total Changes = 0
- Critical = 0
- Warning = 0
- Passed = All validations successful
You will see the message: "No changes to display"

This confirms your update did not impact layout or data.
Comparison Breakdown
Below the validation cards, you’ll see a detailed breakdown of changes.
This section shows:
- How many sheets were affected
- How many objects were impacted
- Sheet layout changes
- Data point changes
- Items added, modified, or deleted
This breakdown helps you decide where to investigate next.
Recommended Actions
After reviewing the Summary:
- If Critical issues exist - Investigate immediately
- If only Warnings exist - Review for confirmation
- If everything Passed - You can proceed confidently
You can then move to:
- Sheet layout tab to review structural changes
- Data points tab to review data differences
