Qlik Sense Enterprise Configuration
AskSenseOps connects to Qlik Sense Enterprise to make data available for users to explore through the AskSenseOps interface. To establish the connection, provide the Qlik Sense server details, configure the required ports, and upload the certificates exported from Qlik Management Console (QMC).
Before configuring the connection, ensure that you have access to a Windows-hosted Qlik Sense server, the required certificate files, and a service user with at least App Read and Stream Read permissions.
Add a Qlik Sense Enterprise Connection

In QMC, navigate to Certificates and export the certificates for the service account. Upload the following files in the connection configuration panel:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Root | Upload the root certificate file. |
| Client | Upload the client certificate file. |

| Qlik Hub URL | Enter the URL used to access your Qlik Sense Hub, for example, https://qlik.company.com. |
This URL should correspond to the Qlik Sense environment you are connecting to.
Step 7: Test and Save the Connection
After completing the configuration:
- Review the server, authentication, certificate, and Hub Access details.
- Click Test Connection to verify that AskSenseOps can connect to Qlik Sense Enterprise.
- If the test is successful, click Save Connection to save the configuration.
If the connection test fails, review the server hostname, virtual proxy, port values, service account details, certificate files, and Hub URL. Correct any incorrect values and test the connection again.
Verify the Connection
After saving the connection:
- Return to Connections under Admin, in the Data section.
- Locate the Qlik Sense Enterprise connection you created.
- Check its displayed status.
An Active status indicates that the connection is available in AskSenseOps.
